About the Poet
The feature poet for October's open mic is Shay Alexi (they/them), author of "Unbridled."
Shay is a multi-disciplinary artist and writer living on unceded Muskogee-Creek land in Atlanta and has been featured in The Rumpus, Homology Lit, WUSSY, and Apogee, among others. About the Event
After two years of virtual open mics, the XChange Open Mic is back in person! This open mic is a space to share your stories, songs, poems or upcoming events. The ArtsXchange is a community arts center located in East Point, Georgia, committed to the arts. XChange Open Mic is Hosted by Theresa Davis a National Poetry Slam Champion and producer of literary events all over Atlanta.
This is not a space for homophobia, racism, sexism, trans-phobia, or hate speech.
List opens at 7:30 p.m.
Mic opens at 8 p.m.
