THE FAMILY THAT CREATES TOGETHER: Creating Theatre From the Ground Up!
Tuesday-Friday, June 8-10 @ 6-7:30 PM & Saturday, June 11 @ 1-2:30 PM
This course — taught by Destiny Renee, actor and education director at 7 Stages Theatre — explores theatre arts from coming up with an idea to taking it to the stage. 7 Stages specializes in devised theatre. Together, particiapnts will walk through the creative process of theatre production. The workshops will build upon each other, starting with the initial
concept/theme, then exploring design, creative development, and ending with performance.
It is part of "The Family That Creates Together" a series of 16 free classes taught by ArtsXchange studio residents on various dates, March-June. Youth of all ages and their families are invited to participate.
