Storytelling Workshop with Dani Herd

Storytelling Workshop with Dani Herd

Have you ever attended a live literature event or poetry reading and wondered what it takes to read our own work in front of others?

Writing for Performance takes your work from the page to the stage! This class covers all the intricacies of crafting a personal story intended for live performance.

We want these workshops to celebrate the spirit of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) by encouraging writers to develop ideas, experiment with different storytelling forms, and—most importantly—get their stories onto the page.

Through prompts, brainstorming exercises, and opportunities to practice performing in front of others, Writing for Performance aims to inspire every student that their unique story is worth telling in their own unique voice.
