WRITE YOUR WAY reinforces Georgia's secondary ELA expectations while giving students something traditional classroom writing assignments don't always provide: room to experiment, take risks, find their voice, and discover what their words can do.

Tell a story. Explain an idea. Make something up. Take a stand. Experiment with poetry. Write about what's happening in your world. You don't have to sound like a textbook. You need to learn how to make your words work.

For parents:

Strong writing is more than getting an English assignment done. It is the ability to communicate ideas clearly, tell meaningful stories, think critically, make an argument, and express yourself with confidence.

WRITE YOUR WAY gives young writers ages 13–18 four opportunities to practice those skills in an engaging, creative environment.

For teachers/schools:

WRITE YOUR WAY provides supplemental writing instruction for students ages 13–18 through four workshops focused on expository, narrative, creative/poetic, and argumentative writing.

The program reinforces secondary ELA skills—including purpose, audience, organization, evidence, revision, craft, collaboration, and presentation—while giving students opportunities to write about subjects that matter to them.
