Performers include violinist Kim Strings, DJ Barake, Victor Love's Evolv Acting Studio, the I Am Arts Performance Company Drummers, poets Nikki Gray, RJ Owens, Deborah Respress and Debra Hiers, songstress Akua Taylor, dancer Sammy Sheperd, and Harmonica Paul aka One Cool Kat.

Experience the joy, sights, and sounds of the 1970s while celebrating a resurgence of the arts, activism, and culture at the ArtsXchange in East Point. There will be plenty of food and room for dancing!

The Jack Sinclair Gallery will feature the stunning exhibit, “Jazz & Spirituality,” by prolific Atlanta architect and artist Oscar Harris. Mingle and mix with old and new friends. This party is for everyone who appreciates the love, peace,

soul and power of the 1970s.

The ArtsXchange d/b/a The Southeast Community Cultural Center was incorporated in 1983, and opened The Arts Exchange in 1984, reshaping the landscape of Metro Atlanta’s arts scene. This inner-city artist colony/community arts center was an intentional effort to create a fully integrated facility—multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary and inter-generational. Over the years we have been the place where individual artists could find performance or rehearsal space; and artists and community could find a wide range of classes.
