Garden Like a Boss: Wild Edibles

GARDEN LIKE A BOSS explores various aspects of gardening. All classes are free and open to all, 12-2 p.m. on the following Saturdays:

4/8 - Plants & Soil

4/22 - Gardening Techniques

5/6 - Food as Medicine

5/20 - East Point Garden Tour  (NOTE: This day's class will meet at the ArtsXchange then leave as a group for an offsite tour around East Point.)

6/3 - Wild Edibles

Join longtime farmer and East Point Agriculture Manager Tenisio Seanima for the Garden Like a Boss class series to:

• Increase education on sustainable urban farming
• Promote community through purposeful gardening
• Nurture curiosity and provide hands-on education through workshops, field trips, and youth programs.
• Promote health and well-being by encouraging consumption of organic, garden-grown products.
• Increase the number of gardens through educational programs
• Provide a beautiful oasis for local birds, bees, and insects

ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY GARDEN

Fresh Oasis Community Garden at the ArtsXchange is an inviting space where individuals, families, and groups can grow produce for themselves as well as provide educational classes and volunteer opportunities. With support from East Point Grown and Food Well Alliance, we are planting for our future to raise awareness of sustainability and healthy living through gardening.
