REGISTRATION REQUIRED
This virtual class will demonstrate several simple artmaking techniques to make prints on paper using gel plates and water-based media, like paint, ink, and glitter. Supply kits available for pick-up at the ArtsXchange (404-624-4211) or can be ordered individually.

Gel plates are available under several brand names, including Gelli, Gel Plate, and others.

A sheet of glass, plexi, or plastic (8x10 or larger) with taped edges for safety
Blank paper to print on
Spray water bottle
Scissors
Tape
paper towels
Newsprint
protective table covering - plastic or paper
Empty plastic containers or jars
Lisa Tuttle is a mixed media artist with a studio at the ArtsXchange. Her mixed media artworks, digital prints, works on paper and public art projects incorporate photographs, texts, illustrations, painting, printmaking, drawing, and collage.
She is a recent convert to printmaking and enjoys teaching experimental techniques such as gel plate to anyone of any age - especially parents and children.
