April XChange Open Mic4-12 -24

We invite you to take the stage and share your words at the ArtsXchange on April 12th, starting at 8 pm in the Robeson Theater.

This event promises a chance to win big – $100 awaits the poet with the most points of the evening's slam, $75 second place and $25 for third place. In celebration of Women and  National Poetry Month, this slam is open to female identified poets. Want to compete in the Poetry Slam? It's a winner-takes-all competition, so bring your A-game! 3 rounds 3 minutes 10 poets 5 judges 1 winner no props/ no music/ original work only TICKETS TO OPEN MIC $10 in advance $15 at the door The doors open at 7:30 pm, and there will be a brief open mic session before the slam, offering an opportunity for all voices to be heard.
