Whether you're a novice gardener or a seasoned pro, this six-class course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to master urban farming and gardening. Each class will cover essential topics to help you cultivate a bountiful garden right in the city — from composting to crop management to harvesting.
Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, ask questions, and receive guidance from experienced urban farming practitioners. Field trips to local urban farms and guest speakers from the Atlanta farming community will be incorporated when possible to enhance the learning experience.

Session 1 – April 27, 2024
Planning and Designing Your Warm-Season Urban Ag Space
Objective: Equip participants with the knowledge and skills to plan and design their warmseason urban agricultural spaces.
