Event Summary

The ArtsXchange Community Cultural Center opened our first location in 1984.  In 2021 we celebrate our 37th anniversary by celebrating the power of the Arts and Activism.  We celebrate the Arts with an expanded outdoor festival and artist market.  We encourage Activism by partnering with social change organizations to educate and train those who want to be better informed and active in bringing about social and economic change. The festival will feature an artist market, live music, dance, food and much more.

The ArtsXchange has a proud reputation as the oldest artist owned and operated multidisciplinary arts organization in Metropolitan Atlanta.  As the designer and producer of the 1988 and 1990 ROOTS Festival, which defined the first National Black Arts Festival.

This festival is a professional event featuring skilled artists in artistic mediums including painting, ceramics and sculpture, jewelry design, and artisans among many other arts.

Reimagine Democracy Festival takes place at one of the largest and most enthusiastic artists run venues in Metro Atlanta, ArtsXchange Community Cultural Center in East Point, Georgia blocks from the Tyler Perry Studio.  With an expected audience of 2,000 guests over the 2 days, Reimagine Democracy is a celebration of unique visual artworks, musical performances, delicious food, and various activities for adults and children.
